Sarah at Two Months

Wow baby girl, what a difference a month makes. It's seems funny to me now that people who see you for the first time say how small you are but to your daddy and I you are getting so big already. In the last month you've:

* Measure 25 inches now and weigh 13 pounds 4 oz.
* Tracked your daddy with your eyes as he walked all the way across the room.
* Decided that you like to sleep with your blanket over your face, whenever I move it down you put it back up. Mommy is making you a new snuggly blankie since your favorite thing to do is hold your burpclothes.
* Learned what your hands are, and how good they taste stuck in your mouth.
* Started cooing, you now love to tell me and your cousins stories of your days. One of my favorite memory is sitting with you at night, staring into each others eyes as you 'talk' to me.
* Began flirting with the ceiling vent. Hey, far be it from me to stand in the way of true love as you look at it from the corner of your eyes, smiling and cooing at it while you drink your bottle.
* Slept 11 hours for 4 days this month, one of them on my birthday so thank you for such a wonderful present.
* Started enjoying time spent on your activity mat, the Baby Einstein one must be much more interesting to you and I'm glad.
* Started wearing some of your 3-6 month clothes after the 0-3 month ones started getting to small. You're in about half of each now, grow baby girl grow.
* Danced in the rain with your mommy for the first time, daddy got pictures.
* Said goodbye to daddy, hopefully next month's update will include getting to say hi to him again.

And that is your second month of life in a nutshell little girl. Being without your daddy isn't easy, but you make every minute of it so worthwile. I love you, always.
